ENHANCE is awarded funding from Horizon 2020, the largest European funding programme for research and innovation. The awarded project, ENHANCERIA, is funded as part of the Science with and for Society (SwafS) programme, the aim of which is to build effective cooperations between science and society, building capacities and developing innovative ways of connecting science to society.
ENHANCERIA will support and strengthen the research and innovation dimensions of the European Universities of Technology Alliance by developing a transformation agenda for the alliance, focusing on the role of universities as drivers and enablers of sustainable development.
This project will explore practices, structures and different ways of working across the alliance. Its aim is to establish and widen international networks of employees within research and innovation by developing models for collaboration and recommendations for implementation and disseminating and exchanging models and practices.
Through ENHANCERIA, the Alliance aims to identify challenges and barriers at institutional and European level and to develop new initiatives to be funded through internal, national and international sources, increasing the internationalization of research and innovation activities.
