In the context of the FAIRsFAIR project, EUA, in collaboration with the University of Göttingen, organizes a workshop called “Practical implementation of FAIR-related content in university curricula and teaching.”

It will take place online on October 12th from 10:00-13:00 CET. Registration is open to all EUA members and is free of charge.

The workshop will be focusing on presenting and gathering feedback on the draft “FAIR Competence Adoption Handbook for Universities.”

The handbook aims to address a clear need for universities to have more practical guidance on how to implement FAIR research data management topics in teaching. It will provide a handson framework to support the integration of FAIR competencies in higher education programs through model curricula, courses, and supporting materials.

The event will be of interest to university teachers, other professionals involved in the design and implementation of higher education programs at different levels, data, practitioners, and trainers interested in supporting higher education institutions in this regard.

This workshop closes a series of online workshops that start with Training the trainers: Data management and FAIR data principles in university curricula,” which took place on September 15th.
