The Politecnico di Milano (Polimi) will host the ENHANCE Alliance General Assembly and Strategy Committee meetings, that will take place on the 31st of March. Representatives from the seven member universities of the Alliance will discuss the challenges related to both the ENHANCE and the European University Iniciative promoted by European Comission.

The ENHANCE meetings will be attended by professors, early-stage researchers, students and administrative staff from TU Berlin, WUT, RWTH Aachen, NTNU, Chalmers University, Polimi and UPV. Members of the Operational Office of the Alliance will also participate in the different sessions. Among the most important topics to address include the future legal entity of the European university, the creation of common European degrees and also societal responsibility and the values of the European universities.

The General Assembly consists of four representatives from each member university and includes all four status groups: Professors, early-stage researchers, students and administrative staff. It can make recommendations to the Board of Directors on the strategic direction of the alliance. The General Assembly can only formulate a recommendation if at least half of its main members are present. The meetings of the General Assembly are open to public guests.

On their side, the ENHANCE Strategy Committee consists of two representatives from each partner university and includes all four status groups: Professors, early-stage researchers, students and administrative staff. The Strategy Committee should function as an advisory board to the ENHANCE bodies on relevant strategic topics and its meetings are not public.
