The ENHANCE STEM Ambassadors Programme empowers
motivated female Bachelor and Master students from ENHANCE universities to become visible role models for high school girls – especially those from underrepresented backgrounds.
As ambassadors, students share their personal journeys in STEM, engage in inspirational storytelling, and connect with younger learners through international events and outreach activities through communication channels of ENHANCE.
The programme is a unique opportunity for female STEM students at our universities to represent your university, inspire future STEM generation, and gain valuable skills in public speaking, mentoring, and inclusive communication. The active STEM ambassadors will be invited to the annual community meeting (in 2026, probably in Warsaw during Women in Tech Summit in June) and to large scale events (e.g. Women and Girls in STEM Forum in October 2025). You will find more information below.
Selected STEM Ambassadors represent their universities and the ENHANCE Alliance by sharing their personal academic journeys, engaging in outreach and informal mentoring, and participating in international STEM events co-organised by ENHANCE. The programme focuses on supporting high school girls from underrepresented backgrounds by providing visible, relatable role models in STEM.
What Do our STEM Ambassadors Do?
STEM Ambassadors of ENHANCE support outreach and inspiration activities aimed at encouraging girls and young women to pursue studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. They share their personal STEM journeys through ENHANCE communication channels, such as social media and selected local events at their home universities.
Ambassadors create short videos about their motivation for studying STEM and their everyday campus life, participate in events for high school students such as study information days or Girls’ Day, and engage in informal exchanges with interested pupils, including online conversations. They may also contribute to international events organised in collaboration with the ENHANCE Alliance, such as forums dedicated to women and girls in STEM.
Throughout the programme, STEM Ambassadors are supported by the ENHANCE team and are encouraged to bring in their own ideas and actively co-design new outreach and engagement formats.
Who can become an ENHANCE STEM Ambassador?
We welcome Bachelor and Master students from all STEM disciplines enrolled at ENHANCE universities.
You don’t need perfect grades or previous ambassador experience: what matters is your motivation, authenticity, and willingness to inspire young women and girls. Students involved in associations or outreach activities are welcome but not required. You do not need to have participated in ENHANCE activities before.
