Certificate Programmes
ENHANCE Certificate Programmes are joint educational programmes addressing topics of high societal relevance that are composed of a set of different learning activities often combining mandatory and elective components. After successful completion participants have their newly acquired competences certified by an official ENHANCE micro-credential either as an academic certificate (for students) or a professional certificate (for professionals).
ENHANCE Certificate Programmes are both intended for traditional bachelor, master or doctoral students, allowing them to complement their studies with an additional thematic focus, as well as for life-long learners who seek to up- or reskill. They provide insights into the essence of other disciplines or address relevant cross-cutting topics and are thus an easy way to enhance your professional career opportunities and to customise your education pathway. In addition, they provide a valuable international experience and make your education richer, more personal and flexible.
All ENHANCE Certificate Programmes are supported by transparent quality assurance procedures. ENHANCE Certificate Programmes are continuously under development in cooperation with industry partners, local governments, and non-profit organisations.

Summer & Winter Schools
ENHANCE Summer & Winter Schools offer an opportunity to participate in highly interactive and international educational activities addressing current technical, social and environmental issues. They offer an opportunity to acquire hands-on experience in intercultural teams while benefiting from our Alliance’s extensive teaching offer characterized by excellency and innovation. In addition, they allow students to internationalize their study career even more easily and are thus a way towards a more inclusive international exchange environment.
ENHANCE offers Summer & Winter Schools that can either are stand-alone activities addressing a current topic area of societal relevance or that can be stacked into a larger credential as part of our ENHANCE Certificate Programmes (for example the ENHANCE Summer School on Sustainable Entrepreneurship is at the same time part of the larger ENHANCE Certificate on Sustainable Entrepreneurship).
The participation in ENHANCE Summer & Winter Schools can most commonly be funded either through means of the Alliance or within the framework of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme scheme.

Workshops & Trainings Offers
ENHANCE is developing an ever-growing pool of workshops and training offers that target both university students and staff. Many of our workshops and training offers focus on gender and diversity-related topics in line with our aim to mainstream inclusion, diversity, and equality at all levels in our Alliance. In addition, we provide further offers such as pre-departure seminars for students going abroad, workshops on teamworking skills, and seminars on intercultural cooperation.
Another important pillar of our workshops and training offers are our ENHANCE Staff Weeks. These regular training offers target explicitly at university staff with the aim to both foster internationalization among our university administrations as well as to provide peer-to-peer upskilling on relevant topics around higher education administration and teaching.

MOOCs & Online Courses
Next to the development of attractive programmes and courses that allow participants to become internationally mobile, ENHANCE aims to as well contribute to the internationalization at home of all our member institutions. Therefore, we are developing a range of educational offers that can be completed fully online. These offers are thus an even easier way to internationalize your education pathway without any need to travel abroad.
ENHANCE Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are self-study courses that can be completed at your own pace. Some of our MOOCs are stackable into a larger credential as part of our ENHANCE Certificate Programmes.

Language Tandems
The Language Tandems within the ENHANCE Alliance is a project for students, doctoral candidates, academic and administrative staff that aims to enhance language learning via a language exchange method and enables participants to establish new contacts within the ENHANCE community. The participants of the Language Tandem project can learn the following six languages:
