Fostering Expertise in Internationalisation
The ENHANCE International Exchange Knowledge Hub

The ENHANCE Alliance has established the International Exchange Knowledge Hub – a new initiative designed to strengthen cooperation and knowledge sharing among staff involved in international mobility and exchange across ENHANCE member universities.
About the Knowledge Hub
The International Exchange Knowledge Hub provides a forum for ENHANCE university staff to exchange insights, discuss challenges, and explore best practices in internationalisation. It supports the Alliance’s objective of building institutional capacity and fostering collaboration in mobility management.
Participants will be able to:
- Share your expertise with early-stage researchers and help shape their career paths
- Share expertise on staff and student mobility programmes
- Explore mobility schemes and regulatory frameworks across ENHANCE institutions
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and joint initiatives
- Exchange practical experiences and approaches
Format and Structure
The Knowledge Hub meets online every two months for one hour, typically on Wednesdays at 13:00 CET. Each session begins with a short presentation followed by an open discussion. An in-person Staff Week is planned at Gdańsk University of Technology in May 2026 to continue the exchange face to face.
Next Webinar: “Mind the Gap! Exploring Cultural Differences”
The next session in the series will take place on 19 November 2025 from 13:00 to 14:00 CET via MS Teams.
Led by Elena Atanasiu and Jocelyn Keller, the discussion will explore how cultural expectations differ among international guests, staff, and students within European universities. The session will address how individuals adapt to new academic and social contexts and how such awareness can contribute to more effective international collaboration. The webinar will be conducted in English and is open to staff from all ENHANCE institutions.
