ENHANCE is collaborating with EIT RawMaterials through the Girls Go STEM initiative to inspire young women to pursue science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and promote gender equality in these fields. The collaboration brings together STEM Ambassadors, pitch coaching for the finalist teams. ENHANCE invites the winning team of the Audience Choice Award to one of the ENHANCE Alliance universities.
Connecting young women with STEM role models
STEM Ambassadors from ENHANCE universities of technology share their experiences of studying STEM, offering young participants insights into university life and possible career pathways. At the EIT Women and Girls in STEM Forum in Prague on 26 November 2026, participants will be able to meet ENHANCE STEM Ambassadors at the ENHANCE booth, ask questions and hear first-hand what it is like to study at leading universities of technology across Europe.
By creating opportunities for direct exchange with students and role models, ENHANCE aims to help young women recognise their potential and explore future opportunities in science and technology.
Supporting young innovators
ENHANCE also contributes to the Girls Go STEM Challenge by providing pitch coaching to help the three finalist teams prepare to present their ideas at the Forum.
In addition, ENHANCE invites the winning team of the Audience Choice Award to visit one of the ENHANCE Alliance universities, connecting their achievement with a first-hand experience of university life and innovation.
The public can support the participating teams by watching their project videos and voting for their favourites in the Audience Choice Award. The voting deadline is by 18 November 2026 at 14:00 CET.

Working towards a more inclusive future for STEM
Through this collaboration, ENHANCE and EIT RawMaterials are helping to connect young women with role models, university communities and opportunities to explore STEM. The initiative reflects both organisations’ wider commitment to inclusion, diversity and gender equality in European Higher Education.
By making women's experiences in STEM more visible and supporting future generations, the collaboration aims to contribute to a more inclusive future in which talent can flourish.
