Strengthening the Human Dimension of Higher Education: ENHANCE Advisory Assembly holds bi-annual meeting
On April 2, The ENHANCE Advisory Assembly met for a highly productive afternoon online session, further strengthening the foundations of collaboration and innovation across our Alliance.
The meeting began with a debrief on the recent Board of Directors gathering, where the Advisory Assembly plays a crucial role by voicing strategic recommendations directly to the Board. This was followed by an in-depth discussion on current efforts and strategies for community-building within ENHANCE, reinforcing our shared commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
The main focus of the meeting was the ENHANCE+ project and its action plans dedicated to creating tangible impact within the Human Dimension of Higher Education—a unique and forward-looking approach within the framework of the European University Initiative. Through ENHANCE+, we aim to go beyond academic excellence by actively promoting personal and professional growth for researchers, academic and administrative staff across our ten member universities. By placing a strong emphasis on well-being and mental health, we are working to ensure that all members of our community can thrive in the prestigious, yet often demanding, environment of higher education.
We extend our sincere thanks to all members of the Advisory Assembly for their active contributions, their commitment to ENHANCE governance, and their role in building the European university of the future. Their engagement is vital to the success and dynamism of our Alliance.
