Upskilling, Internationalisation, and Professional Growth for Staff

The ENHANCE CHET Programme returns

The ENHANCE Alliance proudly presents the updated Certificate in Higher Education Teaching (CHET), an enhanced professional-development programme that builds on several successful years of implementation across the Alliance. The 2025/2026 edition introduces a modernised structure designed to better support academic and administrative staff in strengthening their pedagogical competencies, expanding their digital and didactic capabilities, and engaging in meaningful international collaboration.

The CHET programme offers a wide portfolio of courses focused on innovative teaching methods, student engagement, and advanced pedagogical development. Participants may join modules delivered onsite, online, or in blended formats across all ENHANCE partner universities. This allows staff to broaden their professional experience, learn in an international environment, and exchange knowledge with colleagues from a wide range of disciplines and institutions.

To obtain the ENHANCE CHET Certificate, participants complete at least one module from each of the programme’s three colour categories:

  • Blue – Student Skills
  • Green – Advanced Pedagogical Development
  • Yellow – Innovative Teaching Methods

This structure ensures a balanced and comprehensive learning pathway. Courses are available at both introductory and advanced levels, making CHET accessible to doctoral candidates, newly appointed staff, experienced lecturers, adjunct staff, and administrative professionals involved in teaching support.

The renewed CHET programme directly contributes to ENHANCE’s mission to empower staff to “internationalise” their work and benefit from the collaborative opportunities offered by European partnerships and the European Universities Initiative. We encourage interested participants to explore the programme and register early.
