Perspectives on the European Student Accommodation Crisis
Hosting University: Politecnico di Milano

This Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme focuses on student housing policies and solutions in Italy, Germany, and Poland. Organized by Politecnico di Milano, TU Berlin, and Gdańsk University of Technology, participants will work on a real case study in Milan to develop innovative solutions for the student housing crisis. The programme emphasises multidisciplinary collaboration and creative thinking, with mobility funding available for the onsite phase.

Advanced Measurement Methods with Smart Sensing Using Machine Learning

The ETH Zurich Campus Heilbronn is hosting the first Interdisciplinary School on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for Science from June 19–24, 2025, in Heilbronn, Germany. Frugal Design

This Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) on Frugal Design and Prototyping invites students to engage in collaborative, cross-cultural design using resource-efficient solutions and physical prototyping. Organized by Chalmers University in collaboration with Aalto University, DTU, NTNU, and KTH, the programme includes online learning, workshops, and team-based project work. Design of Measurement Systems in Integrated Programming Environments

This hybrid summer school offers 30 hours of learning, including online lectures and hands-on laboratory work. The SYNERGIC URBAN SYSTEMS Summer School, organized by the ENHANCE Alliance, focuses on analyzing and designing interdisciplinary urban systems. This Erasmus+ BIP includes both an online and on-site phase, allowing students to tackle real-world challenges in urban sustainability and resilience. Participants will gain both technical and soft skills to address urban transformation, working with peers from universities such as RWTH Aachen, TU Berlin, and ETH Zurich. The onsite phase will take place at TU Berlin from September 1–6, 2025.

Physics-Informed Machine Learning for Geotechnical Engineering

This programme at RWTH Aachen University introduces students to physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) and their application in engineering. Plotting Sustainability

The “Plotting Sustainability” Summer School at TU Berlin offers an interactive and artistic exploration of sustainability. Summer School in Climate Change

The Summer School in Climate Change aims to equip students with a solid understanding of climate change, its global impact, and the local strategies that can help mitigate its effects. The programme includes four modules on the scientific basis of climate change, methods for evaluating climate impacts, mitigation and adaptation strategies, and multidisciplinary project-based workshops. Participants will engage in international teamwork to explore climate action solutions. The course is a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) consisting of two online modules (3 and 5 days), and one on-site module at Warsaw University of Technology (5 days), running from June to mid-July 2025. The programme culminates in a peer-reviewed group project.
