A Successful Premiere: The ENHANCE Community-based Training Programme for Incubator Coaches 2024

ENHANCE SEI "Train the Trainer" Programme 2024

The ENHANCE Alliance is proud to announce the successful completion of the premiere edition of our Community-based Training Programme for Incubator Coaches, held at Chalmers University of Technology. This three-day intensive training marks a significant milestone in our commitment to fostering professional growth and excellence among our staff and wider community.

Empowering Educators for a Resilient Future

At ENHANCE, we recognise that the future of education and innovation depends not only on the students we educate but also on the educators and practitioners who inspire and guide them. With this in mind, our “Train the Trainer” programme was designed to empower those at the forefront of training aspiring entrepreneurs and venture teams across Europe. By equipping them with the latest tools, skills, and insights in sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation, we are ensuring that they, in turn, can inspire and elevate the next generation of leaders.

This premiere edition brought together a diverse group of practitioners from all corners of Europe, creating a vibrant community of professionals dedicated to co-creating and advancing training content. Led by our Work Package 5 team, under the guidance of Kristina Hejdenberg Sedström, the programme emphasised the importance of collaborative learning and peer-to-peer exchange, fostering a holistic understanding of entrepreneurship in a sustainable context.

A Collective Journey Towards Excellence

The success of this programme is a testament to the power of collective effort and shared vision. Throughout the three days, participants engaged in dynamic workshops, hands-on activities, and thought-provoking discussions, all aimed at bridging the gap between theory and practice. The feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the programme’s impact in bringing a fresh perspective to sustainable entrepreneurship education.

One participant noted, “This is exactly what was needed, bridging the gap between researchers and practitioners, it’s really powerful!” Another shared, “Learning and experimenting with peers and challenging each other, it has brought a new holistic way of understanding entrepreneurship.”

These reflections underscore the value of this initiative in not just enhancing knowledge but also in creating a supportive community of like-minded professionals.

Commitment to Staff Initiatives

This programme is just one example of ENHANCE’s ongoing commitment to staff development and professional growth. We firmly believe that investing in our educators and practitioners is essential to achieving our broader mission of creating a resilient, knowledgeable, and globally competitive society. By providing opportunities for continuous learning and development, we are empowering our staff to excel in their roles and, in turn, make a meaningful impact on our students and communities.

The “Train the Trainer” programme is part of a broader strategy to ensure that all members of the ENHANCE community have access to the resources and support they need to thrive. Whether through formal training programmes, collaborative projects, or peer-to-peer learning opportunities, we are dedicated to fostering an environment where staff can continually grow and contribute to the Alliance’s goals.

Looking Ahead: The Next Steps

As we celebrate the successful conclusion of this premiere edition, we are already looking ahead to future ENHANCE Activities for our university staff, both teaching and adiministrative colleagues within our member network. The positive outcomes and enthusiastic feedback have reinforced our commitment to expanding and refining this initiative, ensuring that even more practitioners and facilitators of education across Europe can benefit from this unique learning experience. We extend our deepest thanks to Chalmers Technology Management & Economics for hosting this event and to the dedicated coordinating team: Anmar KamalaldinKaren Williams-Middleton, Kristina Dobricic, Martin Lackeus, Mats Lundqvist, and Anna Holmdahl White, whose hard work and dedication made this programme a reality.
