This week, diversity experts, practitioners, and student representatives from across the ENHANCE Alliance gather in Warsaw for the annual ENHANCE Diversity Office Meeting — four days dedicated to turning inclusion from ambition into action across our alliance.
Hosted by Warsaw University of Technology, the meeting brings together the full breadth of the ENHANCE Alliance to assess progress, share what works, and define the next steps in embedding inclusion, diversity, equity, and belonging into the fabric of European higher education — across teaching, research, mobility, and governance.
A distinctive feature of this year's programme is the participation of the ENHANCE STEM Ambassadors, students who will contribute perspectives on active outreach and the future of diversity initiatives within the alliance. Their involvement is a direct expression of ENHANCE's commitment to ensuring that students are not just beneficiaries of inclusion efforts, but active co-designers of them.
Participants will also attend selected sessions of the Women in Tech Summit in Warsaw, one of Europe's premier gatherings dedicated to women in technology and innovation, engaging with wider conversations on leadership, diversity, and the future of STEM careers.
A public keynote panel and open-space discussion, co-hosted with the Warsaw University of Technology community, will centre on the theme "From Initiatives to Impact: Upscaling and Mainstreaming Inclusion, Diversity and Equity in ENHANCE" — exploring how the alliance can translate successful local initiatives into structural, alliance-wide change.
Over the years, the annual Diversity Office Meeting has evolved into a key catalyst for innovation and mutual learning within ENHANCE, generating concrete actions and advancing the alliance's ambition to become a model for inclusive, equitable European higher education.
