The main objective of ENHANCERIA was to develop a shared transformation agenda for the ENHANCE Alliance, focusing on research, innovation, and societal engagement. The project explored existing practices, organisational structures, and ways of working across the Alliance in order to identify opportunities for enhanced collaboration and alignment at both institutional and European levels.
A central focus of ENHANCERIA was the development of models for collaboration in research and innovation, alongside concrete recommendations for implementation. The project supported the establishment and expansion of international networks among R&I staff across ENHANCE universities, promoting the exchange, dissemination, and scaling-up of effective practices. In parallel, ENHANCERIA addressed challenges and barriers to collaboration, with the aim of initiating new R&I activities and preparing future initiatives to be funded through internal, national, and international programmes.
ENHANCERIA concluded in September 2024 with a final conference bringing together representatives from across the Alliance. The event provided a platform to present project outcomes, reflect on lessons learned, and discuss future pathways for collaboration. The conference marked not only the completion of the project, but also the foundation for a new phase of joint R&I activities within ENHANCE, supporting the long-term vision of an integrated European campus that connects education, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in pursuit of sustainable development.
