This report presents a curated sample of transdisciplinary approaches across ENHANCE universities, highlighting both institutional strategies and project-level practices that foster collaboration between research, society, and stakeholders. Two rounds of mapping were conducted to capture top-down frameworks, such as supporting structures, models, and methods, alongside bottom-up initiatives including case studies, projects, and pilot activities.
The findings provide a first comprehensive inventory of strategies, practices, and terminologies used to enable knowledge exchange and societal engagement in transdisciplinary research. While not exhaustive, the collection illustrates the diversity of approaches and offers insights into how universities can integrate transdisciplinary methods to address sustainability challenges effectively.
