Embedding transdisciplinarity across the ENHANCE Alliance is central to FA1/WP3: Sustainable Development through Transdisciplinary Research. The working group developed strategies to gradually institutionalise transdisciplinary approaches, enabling universities to act as drivers of sustainable development.
Key objectives included:
Establishing structures to support knowledge exchange between science and society.
Promoting international collaboration within the Alliance.
Building a shared understanding of transdisciplinary approaches to tackle complex societal challenges.
The report introduces a transformation toolbox, combining good practices, methods and tools such as workshops, living labs, platforms and publications, to foster a long-term environment for co-creating knowledge and innovation between universities and society.
