Yekaterina Rublyova, a TU Berlin student, was one of the two winners of the II Social Media Challenge organised by the ENHANCE Alliance. The competition consisted of showing how cities face the challenge of climate sustainability with a picture.

The prize was a trip to UPV, where she discovered another model of university and everyday life in valencia. We get to know his impressions through this short interview.

  1. How was your trip?

My trip to Valencia was absolutely wonderful. Valencia greeted me with bright sunshine and beautiful weather. After I met with Vincent, I had free time, which I decided to spend in the city center. The next day began with a tour of the campus and a meeting with professors from the Faculty of Architecture. It was very interesting to find out how everything works at this university. Valencia left an indelible mark on me with its stunning architecture, vibrant culture, and delicious cuisine. The historic City Center, with its charming streets and impressive landmarks, was a true highlight. I was captivated by the modern City of Arts and Sciences, a testament to human creativity and innovation. The city’s warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with its beautiful beaches, made my stay truly memorable.

  1. How did you feel about this experience?

I am very pleased with the experience. This was my first independent trip, but thanks to constant communication with the organisers, I did not feel out of place. I will definitely visit this city more than once.

  1. Would you recommend this experience to other ENHANCE Alliance students?

I highly recommend other students to take part in such an experience, because it was not only educational but also a very exciting adventure.
