The Summer school, “Students Against Climate Change”, organised by Enhance Alliance at Politechnika Warsaw, provided us with insights into the changing climatic conditions in the current world and how we, students from different European Universities, can work together as a group towards finding a sustainable and greener solution of reducing our Emission and carbon footprints. Each group had only one student from each partner university, meaning exposure to new people and cultures, all focused towards finding a solution to a major issue faced by Climate change.

As a group, we developed a Prototype for an App, a multitool marketplace for second-hand sustainable clothing, focusing on minimalism and promoting thrift shopping to reduce wastage as much as possible in the Clothing Industry. This prototype had features like a lifestyle guide, a recycling Map and a repair guide for the users.

Towards the end of the workshop, the team organised a great final day, where each group recaptured their Journey together in the form of pictures and videos, followed by a quick quiz about the summer school with some prizes containing the college merchandise, in which I secured first place.

Warsaw as a city is wonderful in its way, having high-rising skyscrapers and an abundance of green parks and trees everywhere, enhancing and enriching the lives of the citizens. I enjoyed every minute of this fascinating experience and am thankful for the opportunity to make new friends and great relations with people, not just the students but also the organisers, which I will cherish for a long time.
